Mavic Ksyrium SL

Good wheels
After more than 1000Kms, very satisfied with the purchase. They are still centred as the first day and do not make noises. The improvements compared to the old Ksyrium elite are noticeable. Very good in the mountains.

Wonderfully stiff but comfortable set of wheels
Replacement for my 8-year-old set of Ksyrium Elite's, which have seen a lot of mountains and descents. This set meets the high expectations: light, stiff and still comfortable.

rigid fine wheels
Very satisfied, I drive faster with it - maybe placebo, mar on my counter it is a fact

Don't hesitate, do it.
Since I have had these wheels, I ride almost 1.5 kilometers per hour faster on my standard 50-kilometer round trip. The wheels are not only fast, but the width of the rim (19 mm inner width) makes them very comfortable. Previously, I bounced over the clinkers; with these wheels, it feels like I have suspension. I can't say much about durability yet, but the hubs are low maintenance and the spokes don't touch, which minimizes the chance of spoke breakage. I also really like the wheels, and for this price you can't find much else that is this light and strong.

Highly recommended product for optimizing or even transfiguring an already dated bike.
Rolling efficiency is transfigured compared to the Krisiums that equipped my Sensium 300 TP. I feel like I've gained a cog and 2 km/h on average inclines. Braking has become more efficient. On steep inclines, relaunching is immediate, and the bike feels more responsive and lighter than ever before. Yesterday, however, to climb the barrier (femée) above Chalet Reynard via Bédoin, I still had to put some serious pressure on the pedals, and these wheels, efficient as they are, are not an engine...

tire mounting not easy

Reactive and lightweight, perfect for the mountains
Very good wheels for mountain outings, the difference is obvious from the first use compared to my first wheels. A significant gain of around 700g, but above all, much better bearings.

Superb wheelset at a great price
I searched for a long time for a nice and affordable wheelset and found it with the purchase of the Mavic Ksyrium SL. Sturdy wheels and also a treat for the eye. The freewheel makes a lovely sound.

Don't hesitate, just do it.
I purchased these rims for my older 2008 race bike: An Orbea Onix tour (not as much room for super wide rims). Previous rims were also Mavics: 2013 Mavic Ksyrium elite s. (But 15mm internal width) The result was simply amazing for this price point. Race bike had much better handling and especially in descents the bike was a whole lot more stable. Lateral grip was also increased, all this is most likely going to be due to the 19mm internal width. It transforms your road bike! I have not yet put these rims on tubeless. It is expected that this set will then come into its own even more than it already does. In other words, if you want to give your older road bike some new life and make it ride like a modern road bike, buy these wheels. You're not going to regret it.
