excellent supplement to see and improve performance
the Edge 830 fully meets my expectations. but I still need to find something that it shows the route but doesn't tell me I'm off-track all the time....

Reliable navigation and provides excellent insight into your activities.
Bike navigation that basically has everything you need. Speed sensor is a must in my opinion. If desired, to utilize all the options, you also need a heart rate and power sensor.

very comprehensive gps/bike computer that does what you would expect from garmin
above expectations I had my doubts about the screen size, but it is clear and bright Multiple screens to divide with what you want to see yourself with the mtb bundle a remote control for on the handlebar yet useful if you have multiple screens set to scroll through without letting go of your handlebars

Top product!
Owned it for 3 weeks and already made many beautiful trips. What I especially like about it is that it takes you on paths that you would not normally choose. Reading is very clear, beeps at turns are perfect. I personally find the touch screen very useful for operating and quickly zoom in/out of the map.

nice complete set
After my Edge 1000 which had given up the ghost after 6 years now I bought a size smaller. I am very satisfied with the solidity of the Garmin hardware. Also the software is really well developed. Mounting is very easy. I ended up cutting half an inch off my handle to have the remote in a nice spot. I already can't live without it. Everything works well immediately. The only thing missing from the set is an option to use the remote on the road bike, but Mantel can't do anything about that ;-)

Correct delivery. On time and neatly packaged
Was already used to Garmin a bit, but my Edge 800 was starting to get a bit slow. Now bought the 830 and used it together for a while. Now today replaced the battery of the 800 myself. now also has enough capacity again. Is now 1st spare. 830 still offers nice extra features. Also the screen readout is handy to personalize. Top.

Fun, useful toys for cycling
It's my first navigation, so I have no comparison material and I've only just got it. The reason for buying it is that it comes with a mtb bundle. I have not yet benefited from this. Unfortunately I am not a techie so I have to search a lot on mobile (connect app) and Edge for settings and possibilities. With the help of a colleague I managed to transfer GPX routes from mobile to Edge 830. I'm glad because now I can create, load and ride routes myself. Also nice is that my average speed on the MTB has increased by 1.5 to 2 km per hour because of the speedometer on the hub instead of registering via Strava app. Very handy is the remote control on the handlebar for scrolling through the various screens on the Edge while cycling. A disadvantage of the Edge 830 is that the screen is a bit on the small side and the route is not always clearly distinguishable from the background. I also bought a cadence and heart rate belt to analyze myself ...:) It's a bit of a financial drain, but cycling new, own routes without interruption of finding the way (or quickly finding the route again) and such make it worthwhile so far.
