Thanks to a combination of low weight and a 45 mm half-high rim, the Zipp 303 Firecrest Tubeless Rim Brake wheels are all-rounders.
Tubeless tyres can be fitted to the rims with or without inner tubes. This makes it possible to ride tubeless, with advantages such as lower rolling resistance, better grip and more comfort.
The Zipp ZR1 hubs, developed in Germany, have bearings with a good seal and improved durability. The 6 pawl body engages super quick, resulting in minimal energy loss when the rider starts pedaling.
The Zipp ShowStopper brake surface ensures smooth braking in both wet and dry weather.

Due to the carbon rim brake structure, this wheel is less suitable for long mountain descents, with a risk of blowouts or rim deformation.
No wheel bags or brake discs are included when buying a wheelset.
A body for Sram XDR, Campagnolo or Campagnolo N3W is available separately.
The 17 mm internal rim width lags behind the trends somewhat, but you can still fit 23 mm tyres on these wheels.
There is not much choice in brake pads. For the best braking performance and long life of the rims you should use Scope brake pads.
The carbon rim brake structure makes this wheel less suitable for long mountain descents with the risk of blowouts or rim deformation.
