According to the product specialist
Pros
Thanks to the density of the studs there is plenty of traction on the asphalt and on the straights. |
The Terra Trail TR has good puncture protection due to the ProTection technology. |
The studs on the sides of the tyre are higher than on the tread for a good mix of grip and speed on straights and in bends. |
The tyre can be used as Tubeless so that you can get the most out of it. |
These tyres have low rolling resistance and provide great grip! |
Thanks to the flexible compound it is easy to maintain speed on gravel roads. |
Knobs on the side of the tyre give you sufficient grip in the bends. |
The Byway Road has good performance for both asphalt and gravel roads thanks to its smooth tread and higher side knobs. |
The Byway Road TCS is tubeless compatible, allowing you to ride with lower tyre pressure for more comfort. |
Thanks to the volume of the tyre, it moulds itself better to the unevenness of the ground and you experience lower rolling resistance. |
Cons
The high studded tread with the BlackChili Compound provides a lot of grip but has a higher rolling resistance than the Terra Speed. |
If you're riding on wet and muddy terrain, this profile may not provide enough grip. |
These tyres are less suitable for the more rugged trails due to their flat tread. |
