This semi-studded tyre gets its tread design from the Rekon but with smaller and lower knobs for more speed. It can also be used as a rear tyre paired with a more aggressive front tread.
A material that is highly cut- and abrasion-resistant has been added to the sidewalls of the tyre. This densely woven fabric is lightweight and very flexible without compromising the tyre’s performance. Choose tyres with EXO protection for exceptionally rocky, treacherous trails with a high risk of cuts or other damage to the sidewalls.
Tubeless Ready
Tubeless tyres give cyclists many advantages: the possibility of riding at lower tyre pressure, which improves grip and traction; lower rolling resistance compared to a clincher tyre; and a reduced risk of punctures from external impact or snakebite. Maxxis Tubeless Ready (TR) tyres give you the advantages of a UST tubeless tyre without added weight.

Nice tan wall tyres with good traction
Front and rear fitted and rides fine Front is a bit wandery on loose sand but predictable and doable as a front tyre. Only roots it likes a bit less. I also suspect that when it is a bit wet, it is less suitable. Compared to racing Ralph and ray, which I had before, they roll easier on loose sand. And at the back you can more easily corner the wheel because of the lower studs.

Perfect product
Easy assembly and wonderful grip

Top tyre that lasts 4000km without going flat.
Because of the quality of this tubeless tyre, I only need to replace it when the heads are worn out after about 4000km. In all that time, I never ride flat. I use them on Curacao with its prickles and sharp rocks and consistently buy the same Maxxis tyres because they are so reliable. This tyre also gives good grip on sandy hills and gravel slopes.

A top band/brand
We are very satisfied with the Maxxis tyres, we have been cycling with them for years in the Netherlands but also in Austria in the mountains, never any punctures, the wear and tear on these tyres is not too bad, you can play around with the tyre in terms of air pressure, we don't want any other brand.
