The Evolve CIMA frame
The Evolve CIMA frame set includes the frame, seatpost, fork and all essential hardware. The frame has a fairly aggressive geometry and is designed to be light and aerodynamic. So it can be used as an all-round bike but also as a competition bike - it has been UCI tested and approved for all types of races. The cables run internally through the top headset spacer, making for a tidy cockpit. As the spacer offers no room for gear shifting cables, an electronic groupset will have to be used.

Details
Unpainted, the frame in size M weighs 650 grams, which is extremely competitive with major brands. Depending on the paint and frame size, some weight will be added. A seatpost with a 380 mm length and 10 mm offset is included. Across the various sizes, three bottom bracket drops and two front forks are used with a different offset so that the bike has the exact same active steering behaviour in all sizes. The frame has been aerodynamically optimised using the results of wind tunnel tests at Silverstone.

Carbon fibres
A combination of three carbon fibre types is used for a 12% increase in stiffness. These are T1100, T800 and M40 fibres, each contributing to different properties. T1100 is known for the fibre's high tensile strength, which is required in certain applications and areas. T800 offers a good balance between tensile strength and stiffness, and M40 is a high-modulus carbon fibre with a high degree in stiffness. By combining these fibres, Evolve has created a stiff, lightweight and strong frame.

Specifications
The hardware needed to build a bike is included. CeramicSpeed's ceramic SLT bearings are used so that the headset bearings have a very long life, eliminating any disadvantage of running cables through the headset. The thru-axles are also included. The derailleur hanger is a SRAM UDH model, which makes finding a spare or replacement for it very easy. A standard BSA threaded bottom bracket is used.

Kreuza cockpit
Evolve releases a cockpit at the same time as their road bike frame. This is the Kreuza Apex cockpit, a super aerodynamic handlebar with very low weight and high stiffness. The handlebar is made of T800 carbon and has a slight flare.
