Stages Dura Ace 9000 Power Meter

The Stages Dura Ace 9000 single sided power meter allows you to measure your power and adjust your training accordingly. This value, measured in Watts, is telling of just how intense your training sessions can be. Contrary to heart rate, this value is always stable and not influenced by weather conditions, stress, or how fit you are that day. A power meter allows you to train more efficiently and work on your progress faster than with just a heart rate monitor. The Stages Dura Ace 9000 is easily fitted to your current Shimano crankset. All you have to do is connect it to your cycling computer and perform a one-time calibration, after which you can set off. The Stages Dura Ace 9000 can be paired using ANT+ or Bluetooth Smart. Stages sponsors, among others, the professional Team Sky and provides Chris Froome with a double-sided power meter.

Stages produces one of the lightest power meters on the market as the device only adds 20 grams to a standard Shimano crankset. The Stages cranks also have an internal accelerometer which measures cadence without requiring a magnet. The crankarm provides an accurate measurement with a power deviation of just ±2%. In short: a high quality, lightweight and affordable power meter.
