The Shimano WH-RS81 C35 wheelset comes from the mid-range offering of Shimano's road bike wheels collection. The rims, coming directly from the Dura Ace 9000 C35 wheelset, are made with a combination of aluminium and carbon which makes this wheelset lower in weight, it provides a higher stiffness and a longer lifespan. The Shimano WH-RS81 C35 wheelset has an extra wide flange hub and an asymmetrical rim. This provides extra stiffness and increased power transmission.
