My first excursion into a tubeless set-up and I've opted for Continental Grand Prix 5000S because I'm a big fan of the tubed version. The tubeless tyres are as good in terms of grip and rolling resistance but I think the 5000S compound may be a bit too soft for winter use because the tyres seem to cut easily. I think that the 4000S compound was tougher. My tyres are mounted on Fulcrum rims and fitting is easy; they can be fitted with an ordinary track pump - no boost pump required. I reserve judgement on whether I really like these tyres until I've ridden them for the full winter season.

This is my 3rd set of GP5000S TR. They are quite simply the best tubeless tyre out there. I have tried Michelin Power Road TLR, Pirelli P-Zero TLR and TLR SL and although all are excellent tyres, the GP5000S TR just have that edge over them.

Very easy to mount, they are practically self-adjusting! Very good feeling of grip and low friction. I had the GP 5000 and these seem much lighter and better. Definitely recommendable. Let's see how long they last... the previous ones (not model "S") lasted me more than 5000km. These lighter ones will probably last less time.

I already had Conti GP5000 TLs. I was very satisfied with their lifespan and performance (almost 5000 km for the rear tire, and the front tire is still on!). However, they were so difficult to fit that I was considering changing back to Hutchinson. As the GP 5000 S TR were advertised as being a little easier to fit, I took the risk of giving them a try, and I'm not disappointed. It's true that assembly is still rather difficult, but much less so than with the previous model. I didn't kill my fingers! very easy snapping and really top-notch waterproofing (this was already the case on the 5000 TL). Then there's the price... but MANTEL offers a reasonable price, which makes the quality/price ratio very good for this tire. I'm going to recommend a 2nd identical one for my front tire (if it ever deigns to wear out!).

Have one of these in 25 mm on a rear wheel and so far so good. Brought a pair of 28s to fit on disc-brake bike for all-round use but not yet fitted until old ones wear out or puncture beyond self- sealing

I bought this tire because I thought it was expensive, but from the very first kilometers I drove on it, I was very surprised by its comfort and its effectiveness in smoothing out road imperfections. In terms of performance, this tire seems to me to be more efficient and smoother when relaunching! Inflated to 5.8 bars, I measured its width at 24.5mm for a 25mm model. As for the weight, it's just as advertised. I don't regret my purchase!

I went through 2 punctures with this tire on short notice (within 300km). Initially the sealant (Stan's Notubes) did its job but eventually I had to screw in a rubber thread to get some extra mileage out of it. Because the tire is very thin, sealant and a plug cannot really work efficiently and punctures are basically the end of the story for this tire. The 5000TL was much better in this respect but unfortunately no longer available.

Tires mounted very easily on Roval Rapides and Alpinist, no need for a compressor, at the pump they're fine, inflated between 5.5 and 6bars they're very comfortable - you feel like you're riding on velvet. Already 1500km with the Alpinist and no breaks, despite having driven on roads not necessarily in good condition.

Installed as tubeless on HollowGram 64 SL KNØT Wheels. Took a while and quite some effort, but, in the end, I easily inflated the tires with just a floor pump without compressor. Permormance is outstanding.

It was easy to mount the tire on a pair of scope carbon fiber rims. Could inflate it without sealant and release the air without it losing its shape.

These tyres fit my Giant SLR1 hookless wheel nicely, not over difficult to fit & easy to seat & inflate with a track pump. They seem to roll nicely & grip well on dry roads, haven’t tried them in the wet yet. They do seem to lose pressure a bit more quickly than other tubeless Giant brand tubeless tyres I’ve used but not a major issue All in all I’m impressed!

Bought in 28mm version, inflated to 4.4 and 4.2 bars on hookless wheels, they proved fast and comfortable. Quiet running. Very satisfied.

I drive for years on Conti GP. The TR is marginally improved: lighter, rolls a little better. I still ride with inner tube, so the hookless feature is not relevant. It is definitely one of the best tires for training and racing. Especially the mix of puncture resistance, grip and rolling characteristics convince.

Really nice. I switched from 325 gram gp5000 tl 28mm that weight in on 325 gram. These str in 25mm is only 243 grams. Very happy and the discount around Xmas made it worth to buy. Don't hesitate, buy them. Mounts without Tyre levers. 25mm is 24,7mm on the rim.

Think more for summer and dry rides the tire I rode for a 25mm at 62 psi and 70 in the rear the tire behaves great on wet rides but after 1000km still a lot of flint or sharp pebbles remain in the rubber absolutely out or flat the next ride.
