Pros & Cons
- The coarse and aggressive tread gives you great grip in wet conditions.
- With the harder dual compound, this MTB tyre feels stable on technical descents.
- The Exo Protection protects the sidewalls well against thorns and sharp stones.
- The Tanwall tyres make your mountain bike look just a bit more appealing.
- The Tubeless Ready technology makes it easy to convert the tyres to tubeless, which requires adding 90 ml of latex sealant per tyre.
- The hard dual compound makes the tyre more durable but increases rolling resistance.
- If you ride with a tubeless setup, the sealant should generally be topped up every 3-6 months.

Description
Description
The Maxxis Ardent EXO MTB tyres have an aggressive studded tread designed to create maximum traction. The high studs to the sides of the tread centre enable you to take corners at very high speeds without losing grip. The tread of the Maxxis Ardent EXO MTB tyres is designed to allow the tyres to grip the surface well during acceleration and braking. With their tanwall design, the Ardent EXO tyres look awesome on your MTB!
A material which is highly resistant to cuts and extremely abrasion-resistant has been added to the sidewalls of the tyre. This densely woven fabric is lightweight and highly flexible, keeping the tyre's performance unaffected. Choose the tyres with EXO protection for exceptionally rocky, treacherous trails where the chances of sidewall cuts or damage are very high.
Tubeless Ready
Tubeless tyres provide cyclists with many benefits: the ability to ride at lower tyre pressures, which improves grip and traction; lower rolling resistance compared to a clincher tyre; and less chance of punctures due to punctures or snakebites. Maxxis Tubeless Ready (TR) tyres have the benefits of a UST tubeless tyre without a weight penalty.
