The KMC X9 Silver/Grey 9 speed chain excels in both shifting performance and durability. The chain also comes with a missing link, which makes it easy to fit and remove the chain for maintenance.

KMC uses the same box for all X9 chains. The product number BX09NG114 and the barcode 4715575890562 are what indicate that it is a KMC X9 Silver/Grey chain (previously known as a KMC X9.93).
• This chain comes standard with a missing link. The addition of this missing link makes mounting the chain easy, but it's also ideal for when you want to give your bike a deep clean. To open the missing link you need a missing link pliers, which you can find here.
• A chain wear tool makes it easy to see when your chain is worn, so that you can replace it timeously. You can find chain wear tools here.

KMC chains are always reliable and last longer provided you clean them regularly. It's best to clean off the protective oil before use and replace it with chain lube.

Minus point with this one is that during installation one of the links of the missing link was out of order. Never happened before. Finally mounted the missing link from the old chain to solve the problem.
