KMC uses the same box for all X9 chains. The product number BX09NG114 and the barcode 4715575890562 are what indicate that it is a KMC X9 Silver/Grey chain (previously known as a KMC X9.93).
Need tools?
• To cut a chain to size you need a chain breaker tool (also known as a chain rivet tool). You can view our selection of chain breakers here. Some multi-tools contain a chain breaker. Make sure that you select a chain breaker for the right speed chain though - the size of the pins is different according to the speed of the chain.• This chain comes standard with a missing link. The addition of this missing link makes mounting the chain easy, but it's also ideal for when you want to give your bike a deep clean. To open the missing link you need a missing link pliers, which you can find here.
• A chain wear tool makes it easy to see when your chain is worn, so that you can replace it timeously. You can find chain wear tools here.

An excellent chain and good value for money
KMC chains are always reliable and last longer provided you clean them regularly. It's best to clean off the protective oil before use and replace it with chain lube.

Wear-resistant chain
KMC has been my brand for years. I replace the chains on my bikes regularly to extend the life of the sprockets. The chains are very hard wearing. Minus point with this one is that during installation one of the links of the missing link was out of order. Never happened before. Finally mounted the missing link from the old chain to solve the problem.

Have good experiences with KMC, not inferior to Shimano. Handy is the included missing link.
