This means that the chain will last long even when often exposed to bad weather conditions! Also, the chain pins are reinforced, making this chain suitable for electric bikes.

The EcoProTeQ (EPT) coating in KMC chains is environmentally friendly and non-toxic, and makes chains highly resistant to corrosion. Because the EPT coating is applied to each individual chain component, water, salt and humidity cannot affect these chains in any way.
