With the ABUS Bordo Granit 6500K folding lock, your bike stays exactly where you put it. The 6 links, or bars, on the 90 cm long lock are made of 5.5 mm hardened steel and connected with reinforced rivets. When folded up, the lock is 21 cm long. To prevent damage to your bike's paintwork, the bars have a soft 2-component casing. When you’re going to cycle, you can store the lock in the carrier, which is easy to attach to your bike's frame with Velcro or screws.

Folding the lock in and out takes some getting used to, but you quickly get used to this. The length is somewhat short, so securing it around something requires some experimentation. The lock does not rattle when on the move.

I use this lock when I spontaneously want to park my electric bike in the city centre.I didn't fancy a rattling lock on the bike and still wanted an extra lock for insurance and against taking it into a van, I saw this lock as the most practical solution.
