Pros & Cons

Pros & Cons

  • Compared to the Tacx NEO 2, the NEO 2T is even quieter and offers a more realistic bike feel and better pedal stroke analysis.
  • The Neo 2T Smart accurately measures the position and power output of your left and right legs. The extensive post-ride analysis allows you to train even more effectively.
  • The trainer has a maximum resistance of 2200 watts and a maximum gradient of 25%.
  • Thru axle adapters for 142x12 mm and 148x12 mm and Quick Release adapters are included.
  • The trainer features ANT+ FE-C and Bluetooth Smart connectivity for pairing with other devices and training software such as Zwift.
  • As standard, the turbo trainer body is compatible with SRAM 8 -11 speed and Shimano race cassettes. For Campagnolo, SRAM XD/XD-R and Shimano Micro Spline cassettes a special cassette body is required.
  • The cassette is not included as standard.

Fun, precision and silence: that's the Neo 2T!

- Max 1 April 2025

I used to have an Elite Suito-T. Also a fine device, but sometimes gave problems because it has no cadence sensor. Now switched to Tacx Neo 2T. A lot more expensive, but I'm honestly amazed at the difference in quality. Quieter, smoother, less fluctuating wattage; it's simply much more fun to cycle indoors.

Pros & Cons

No installation, plug and play
The additional accessory set is brilliant.
Very quiet. You can watch a film quietly
Pricey, but great value for money.

Very happy with my purchase, very efficient, stable and accurate.

- Raphaël 2 January 2025

I've been using it for a week as a replacement for an Elite suito. The Neo is really more stable and accurate. The Tacx app is very useful and allows me to analyse the way I ride effectively. I love it!

Realistic experience and feels quality good. Recommended for indoor rides

- Jarl 10 November 2024

Nice device and is quiet during use. Tested in the shop but also a good cycling experience at home after longer rides. Feels realistic and you can definitely get out of the pedals when needed. Sensors are easy to pair. Installation does require some knowledge to mount a cassette and then adjust the derailleur. As a layman, had no experience with Zwift, ROUVY, Kinomap etc. There is also little explanation on how this installation is done. By the way, this does not mean it is difficult. A little Googling and you have everything linked in no time.
