The Schwalbe Eddy Current Addix Soft TLE mtb tires feature the Super Gravity and Super Trail compound and are suitable for Enduro and e-mtb use. Among other things, the Schwalbe Eddy Current Super Gravity Addix Soft TLE mtb tire is designed for Enduro use or the electric mountain bike. The carcass is heavily protected to be able to handle the weight and to ensure shape retention at lower tyre pressures. The Eddy Current tyre is also intended for the most technical descents in Enduro riding. The studs have an aggressive yet open pattern so that electrical pedal assistance and/or rider power is transferred directly to the surface. This makes it easier to maintain speed even on wet, slippery or steeper terrain. The profile of the Schwalbe Eddy Current is therefore ideal for a rear tyre.
Super Trail/Gravity
The Schwalbe Eddy Current Front Super Trail Addix Soft TLE and the Schwalbe Eddy Current Rear Super Gravity Addix Soft TLE feature the same compound but specifically developed in terms of softness in the studs for optimal grip on the front wheel and maximum traction on the rear wheel. So you have specific technologies for the front and rear wheel and get the maximum out of your tire set.
Super Gravity is a patented carcass construction developed by Schwalbe. The quadruple carcass layer makes the sidewalls very stable and reliable. The tread is very flexible due to the double carcass layer, generating a lot of grip. The entire tyre is protected against cuts by the SnakeSkin fabric. Super Gravity tyres are Tubeless Easy (TLE), so say goodbye to inner tubes! The absence of an inner tube can save more than 700 grams compared to classic Enduro tyres.
