Fine, just a pity that it is indeed also really necessary to replace it
Does what t should, just make sure you have a Torque wrench. You will turn it too tight in no time

Replacement is difficult
More difficult than expected. No manual included so setting up youtube videos with your dirty hands.... For double the price you have a completely new Eggbeater 1.

Easy maintenance job on the bike. Recommended to have many years of virtue from your crankbrothers. Already applied several times to my eggbeater pedals.

Risky undertaking, ieg with old eggbeater with plastic tip
It's a complex thing that can go wrong in all sorts of ways even with different youtube videos. I couldn't get my 2011 eggbeater open and had to drill it out. Then I had to hammer the nylon baring into the pedal with a hammer, but after 2 blows the baring broke. I am not a bicycle mechanic, but not clumsy. Here, apparently, I am.
