The “loudest freewheel rear hub on earth”. The newest edition of the Hope Pro 4 looks at first sight a lot like its predecessor but don’t let this mislead you; there are lots of improvements.
The freewheel has a 44 rather than 40 tooth mechanism, which gives a 10% quicker tooth engagement. This becomes noticeable when you accelerate after you have stopped pedalling. A more direct tooth engagement gets you at full speed in a jiffy. The increased flange diameter adds stiffness to the wheel and the Shimano 11 speed compatible body completes it all.
