The Bontrager's Bronze Series composite sole has a stiffness index of 8. This means that this shoe gets a good score in this price category. Bontrager has achieved this by giving the sole a unique double construction, the Power Truss principle. This makes the outsole much stiffer, without adding any extra weight. The shoe is suitable for three-bolt race cleats and two-bolt MTB cleats. The MTB cleat is not sunken in the sole.
