What is Ubique and how did it come about?

In 2017, Mantel started developing its own carbon wheels. As cyclists, and as Mantel, we saw a demand for affordable and high quality carbon wheels. We found that quality by working closely with one of the best wheel manufacturers in the world. Our customers also liked the fact that they could easily make such a large purchase from a Dutch company with easily accessible stores and customer service. The demand for our wheels was huge, the reviews were very positive and soon we were on the list of best-selling carbon wheels. And it has stayed that way all these years.

After two generations of Mantel carbon wheels it was time for the next step. We have used all the knowledge and experience we have gained over the years to launch Ubique. With Ubique we are tailoring products to the needs of the sporty cyclist. We do this by making clever use of product data, customer feedback and, of course, our own cycling experience. Thanks to our large volumes and buying direct from the source, we can offer great value for money, so we can make even more cyclists happy with beautiful carbon wheels. The first Ubique product will be launched in the summer of 2023 in the form of the Ubique R50C carbon wheels. We are very proud of this milestone and hope to introduce the new Ubique products to many cycling enthusiasts!
