För- & Nackdelar
För- & Nackdelar
- This crankset features a lightweight aluminium chainring and carbon crank arms, and is compatible with DUB bottom brackets.
- With carbon crank arms, the crankset is quite stiff, which improves power transfer.
- The Eagle S500 series is the high-end electronic groupset in SRAM's S-series, ideal for those with a focus on weight and performance.
- The aluminium chainring with X-Sync 2 technology keeps the chain securely in place.
- An aluminium chainring saves a lot of weight but is slightly less wear-resistant than a steel chainring.

Materials and construction
The carbon crank arms make the S500 crankset super light and stiff. This high-quality carbon material minimises overall weight without affecting structural strength. The product has an aluminium X-SYNC 2 chainring that retains the chain perfectly on any terrain. This X-SYNC tooth profile technology prevents the chain from rattling or coming off the chainring. The lightweight aluminium material of the chainring saves even more weight on the moving parts of the mountain bike.
