För- & Nackdelar
För- & Nackdelar
- The low stack height provides a direct pedalling feel, increasing power transfer efficiency.
- The breathable mesh panels provide ample ventilation, which helps to prevent your feet overheating on hot days.
- The seamless construction between the sole and the upper helps to decrease overall weight and to increase stability.
- The BOA L6 dial closure allows for easy micro-adjustments to the fit, which is especially nice for long rides with varying intensity.
- The shoes do not include reflective elements, which limits visibility at dusk or in the dark, but you can easily solve this with good overshoes.
- Because of their breathability, the shoes are not waterproof and may feel chilly in winter.

The sleek and sporty Shimano RC503 men's road bike shoes cleverly combine comfort with performance. The lightweight construction, snug fit and efficient power transfer make these shoes ideal for avid cyclists who want to get just a bit more out of every ride.
Breathable materials and snug fit
Made of mesh, TPU and synthetic leather, the upper moulds precisely around the foot for a comfortable fit with minimal overlap. The integrated seamless construction between the upper and the midsole enhances stability and reduces weight. Thanks to the low stack height, your foot is positioned closer to the pedal for efficient power transfer. The shoe breathes well and is suitable for rides in mild to warm conditions.
Ease of use and performance finish
The BOA® L6 dial closure on the instep strap allows for quick micro-adjustments to the fit, even while cycling. The fibreglass-reinforced nylon sole provides sufficient stiffness without sacrificing comfort on longer rides. The slim design gives the RC503 an aerodynamic and streamlined feel, and the shoe goes well with different foot shapes. Everything about this finish is geared towards a smooth and efficient ride.
