Powergels are based on Powerbar's C2MAX carbohydrate composition. This is a 2:1 glucose to fructose ratio, which allows the body to take up up to 90 grams of carboyhydrates per hour. Plus, the gels come with added sodium, to replenish minerals lost via sweat.
