Natuurmonumenten is the Society for the Preservation of Nature Monuments in the Netherlands. The Natuurmonumenten MTB permit is obligatory for cycling on the society's MTB routes, and is valid for one calendar year, from January 1st till December 31st. By purchasing the vignette you contribute to the maintenance of the routes and the preservation of the nature areas through which they run.
The MTB permit is not only required as a contribution to the maintenance of the route but also to increase safety. The sticker can be linked to Save-Me for free, where you can create a profile that can be accessed via a QR code on your permit. In your profile you can enter telephone numbers, allergy information and more for emergency services who may provide assistance in case of an emergency.
MTB routes where the Natuurmonumenten MTB permit is required:
- Nationaal Park de Loonse en Drunense Duinen
- Nationaal Park Veluwezoom
- Natuurpark Bergherbos-Montferland
- Voorsterbos
- Beetsterzwaag
