What is the difference between the Chaoyang AV48 Fatbike inner tube and the Schwalbe AV7 XXL Fatbike inner tube?
The main difference between the Chaoyang AV48 Fatbike inner tube and the Schwalbe AV7 XXL Fatbike inner tube is the valve length. The Chaoyang AV48 has a 48 mm valve, while the Schwalbe AV7 has a 40 mm valve. This means that the rim height when using the Chaoyang is allowed to be a maximum of 33 mm, while with the Schwalbe, a maximum rim height of 25 mm is allowed for proper inflation of the inner tube. In addition, the Chaoyang inner tube supports outer tubes 100 - 120 mm wide, while the Schwalbe inner tube is compatible with outer tubes 90 - 120 mm wide.
