The Castelli Prologo 7 has a tight fit. It is not aero-tight, but also will not flap around in the wind. The body is made of Micro-Piqué fabric, which is very stretchy. Compared to a Castelli competition jersey, this makes the Prologo 7 suitable for more body shapes. Another positive contribution to the fit and comfort level are the 4-way stretch sleeves. You hardly feel them around your arms and they certainly don't feel too tight. The edges of the sleeves have a raw-cut finish. This makes the transition from fabric to skin very smooth and you will not experience pressure points from seams.

The Castelli Prologo 7 cycling jersey offers excellent protection from the sun. The body has a UPF factor of 50 and the sleeves have a UPF factor of 30. Despite the lower protection factor in the sleeves, they still prevent 97% of the harmful UV rays from passing through.

On the front of the Castelli Prologo 7 is a YKK Vislon zip with neck protection. This zipper is full-length, which makes this jersey easy to put on and take off. Furthermore, three back pockets with an extended design have been added. These provide storage space for food or spare parts.
