Ubique G40C Disc Carbon Gravel Bike Wheels

The Ubique G40C are versatile wheels for gravel bikes. At 1566 grams, they are light enough for fast climbing, and at 40 millimetres deep enough for aerodynamic advantages! Ubique wheels are made with the aim of offering a great upgrade with reliable technologies.

Rims
With their 40 mm height, the rims are perfect for all-round use. The 1566 g weight lends itself to efficient climbing. The rim height of 40 mm and width of 30 mm ensures that tyres sit with beautiful aerodynamics on the wheels. So, they really are fantastic all-rounders!

Hubs
The reliable hubs use industrial bearings which, combined with the tool-less disassembly system, ensures easy maintenance. Light Sapim D-Light straightpull spokes are used, eliminating the need for the spoke to bend, which always causes weakness. Thus, chances of a spoke breaking are slim. The placement of the nipples in the rim is also done at an ideal angle to reduce any further stress on the spoke. Furthermore, the hubs are extremely well sealed to minimise maintenance.

Tyres
The wheels come with tubeless rim tape, allowing you to fit your favourite tubeless tyres straight away. The 23 mm inner and 30 mm outer rim widths mean that wider gravel tyres fit perfectly. So, you can fit wide tyres to ride comfortably on rougher gravel while the deep rims are very aerodynamic for flat and smooth roads.

Tubeless
These Ubique G40C Disc wheels are compatible with tubeless tyres as well as folding or wire bead tyres. The tightness between the tyres and rims makes the wheels easy to use tubeless. Switching to a tubeless setup involves fitting tubeless tyres and tubeless valves and then adding latex sealant. If you should get a puncture, the sealant allows you, in most cases, to continue cycling rather than having to stop by the side of the road to change a tyre. The liquid latex seals the hole within seconds.
