The FFWD F6R DT240 road bike wheels are the most aerodynamic wheels in our Fast Forward collection. Since 2019, the DARC rim profile has been optimised further. This wheelset also has received a design upgrade with UD carbon and black decals. The FFWD F6R DT240 wheels have been equipped with DT Swiss 240s hubs. These hubs are characterised by high durability, reliability and bearing quality. The spokes have been set by hand in the Netherlands with straight pull spokes. These straight pull spokes reduce the chances of breakage and ensure better sideways stability. The tubeless ready rims enable tubeless riding, for which you’ll only need to purchase TLR tyres and latex. When you get a puncture, the latex immediately fills up the puncture, allowing you to keep cycling.

DARC rim profile
The DARC technology stands for ‘Double Arc’, which refers to the special design of the FFWD carbon rim. This rim shape is unlike any other regarding aerodynamics. Thanks to this shape, the airflow sticks to the rim first, after which it is pushed outwards so that it flows along and not through the spokes. This ensures less swirling and drag in the wheel which will make it easier for you to keep going fast.
