The Fulcrum SHARQ GR 2WF C30 AFS gravel wheelset is your best choice for speed on dirt roads and rough trails! It combines a rim profile with alternating heights for aerodynamic gains with high rim width and optimisation for 47 to 52 mm tyres. It also uses cup & cone bearings, which remain smooth-running for a very long time so you can enjoy this wheelset for many years.
Construction of the carbon rims
At the heart of this gravel wheelset is FF100 carbon fibre material, a strong type of carbon that makes the wheels respond instantly to every steering movement you make. A brand-new structure is used to create a lightweight yet robust construction. The rims have mini-hook edges and a 30 mm internal width to make wide tyres sit on them with an optimal shape and increased contact area. This gives you significantly more grip and stability when riding on rough terrain.
Aerodynamic details and hubs
The striking wavey rim profile has a height that varies between 47 and 52 mm. This unique shape improves airflow around the wheel, reducing frontal drag and crosswind sensitivity while cycling. Hubs with smooth cup-and-cone bearings minimise friction and ensure long-lasting smooth rotation. In addition, the set comes with flat A3RO spokes with an aerodynamic profile. They are laced in a unique two-to-one pattern that distributes forces optimally and ensures excellent precision when accelerating.
