The Shimano Dura-Ace R9250 Di2 rear derailleur is part of the Shimano R9200 Di2 groupset, and suitable for 12 speed. Its shifting speed has increased by 58% compared to the previous model. And it shifts much faster and more efficiently than a fully wireless groupset.
The speed of the Shimano Dura-Ace R9250 rear derailleur when shifting under load is even more impressive. The junction box is integrated in the derailleur, saving you a lot of space in the handlebars and bottom bracket. The groupset can also be adjusted and charged via this derailleur.
The Shimano Dura Ace 9200 Di2 Disc 12-speed groupset is a semi-wireless groupset, meaning there is only a cable connection between the front derailleur, rear derailleur and battery. This makes the mounting procedure much easier. A fully charged battery will last for some 1000 km before needing to be recharged. A junction box is no longer needed; the groupset can be adjusted and charged via the rear derailleur.
Shimano Di2 app
The Shimano Di2 app can be used for all adjustment options, such as assigning shift buttons, customising shifting ways or adjusting shifting speed. The function of each shift button is customisable. The Synchronized Shift or Semi-Synchronized Shift options, whereby the front derailleur automatically shifts along to ensure the ideal chainline, are still possible.
