The Protection layer also allows the tyre to airtightly connect to a tubeless rim, the latex will do the rest. In case you get a puncture after all, the latex will effortlessly fill the puncture, allowing you to continue cycling.

The Continental Tubeless Set is a complete set to convert your mountain bike tyres to tubeless. It consists of a latex bottle, tubeless rim tape, tubeless valves, tyre levers and mounting pads. Before purchase, make sure you measure the inner rim size to see if it all fits.

ProTection is also known as the fourth layer. This technology retains speed and traction due to the Black Chili Compound, but most of all offers excellent protection against punctures. UST Tubeless
Inner tubes are a thing of the past thanks to UST Tubeless technology. Continental’s tubeless tyres are compatible with all UST rims. The tyre and rim create an airtight ‘chamber’ without inner tube. An annoying snake bite is simply not possible anymore. Additionally, you’ll be able to cycle with low tyre pressure. This provides more comfort and traction, who wouldn’t want that? The airtight layer inside the tyre can easily be repaired after springing a leak.
