New updates compared to the Wahoo Kickr V5
Mainly, the user experience of the new KICKR V6 has been improved. In fact, the V6 can be connected to WiFi. This makes it easy to perform updates for the Kickr V6 and you are less dependent on Bluetooth or ANT+ chips. You will always stay connected via the WiFi connection while cycling. In addition, you can link the V6 to your home network, making it easy to connect your laptop, tablet or smartphone. With this addition, statistics are displayed up to 65% faster on your screen and eRacing will be even faster. In addition, the KICKR V6 has an odometer that tracks exactly how much you've cycled. This is useful if you want to resell it, for example.
The KICKR V6 calibrates automatically
The latest KICKR calibrates automatically. You never have to think again about whether your KICKR is properly calibrated for a race because of the automatic 'spindown'. When you let the flywheel coast during your workout or race, the KICKR recognises this and automatically starts the calibration process. This keeps the KICKR's power measurement always as accurate as possible and around 1%.
More realism and feel thanks to AXIS technology
The Wahoo KICKR is known for being a very stable and sturdy bike trainer, capable of handling even the roughest sprints. Although this trainer was already good at simulating the ultimate cycling feeling, Wahoo has further developed the KICKR to make it even more truthful. Namely, Wahoo does this with the help of AXIS legs. These are legs that are attached underneath the KICKR, allowing you to move left and right up to 5º. As if you were on a real bike!
KICKR V6, accuracy and durability are key
The Wahoo KICKR V6 is made from a robust, steel construction. This durable frame ensures your KICKR stays in place when you're pedalling high wattages, and will withstand years of heavy use.
Accuracy is key with the KICKR. You obviously want the energy you put into a bike trainer to be transferred properly! The flywheel on this KICKR is very innovative and manages to mimic cycling conditions well. Power and momentum are not lost, and are gradually reduced as in a real bike ride. This technology makes a bike ride on the KICKR feel realistic! Automatic calibration has also been added to the latest KICKR. It automatically does a 'spindown' so you never have to think about whether your KICKR is properly calibrated for a race. When you let the flywheel spindle out during your workout or race, the KICKR recognises this and automatically starts the calibration process. This keeps the KICKR's power measurement always as accurate as possible and around 1%.
Something for everyone: high compatibility
The advantage to the Wahoo KICKR is that you don't have the hassle of adjusting an exercise bike or spin bike. In fact, you simply use your own road bike! The KICKR offers the option of installing 12x142 and 12x148 thru-axle axles in addition to quickrelease (10x130 and 10x135). In addition, there is plenty of room to use bikes with both flat-mount and disc brakes.
In terms of digital compatibility, the KICKR scores very high. In fact, the KICKR has ANT+ FE C and Bluetooth support, so you can be connected to multiple devices simultaneously or separately. The KICKR is supported on platforms like Zwift, The Sufferfest, Fulgaz and TrainerRoad and other applications. As a result, there is something for everyone!
In short, the Wahoo KICKR is a very complete, durable and accurate interactive smart-trainer. Cycling when it's cold outside, windy, raining or snowing is no fun, but with the Wahoo KICKR, those worries are a thing of the past!
These adapters, unlike with previous models, fortunately come as standard with the Wahoo Kickr V6.

Want to upgrade your trainer to 12 speed for SRAM XD or XDR? Then you need this freehub body.
The connection between your trainer and the device you are using it with can be disrupted by other electronic devices that are also transmitting signals. We therefore recommend that you minimise the presence of devices that can interfere with the signal by turning them off or moving them further away. You can also use the Wahoo ANT+ USB Dongle (sold separately) to improve the Wahoo KICKR's connection.
Which cassette do I need for my Kickr trainer?
You need a similar type of cassette as the one currently on your bike for smooth shifting. But will it fit your indoor trainer? To determine whether it does, we look at the brand of the cassette, and then at the toothing.
Does your bike have a Shimano or SRAM cassette? And one with 8 to 12 sprockets? If so, your cassette will fit the Kickr as standard. Depending on the cassette model, you will need to place some spacers on the trainer's freehub body.
Does your bike have a 12-speed SRAM cassette? If so, you will need to install this SRAM XD / XDR freehub body on your Kickr.
Is my bike compatible with the Wahoo KICKR V6?
Many bikes are compatible with the Wahoo KICKR V6. Whether yours is too depends basically on the width of its rear axle. The trainer goes within the frame where the axle is. If you have a road bike or MTB with a Shimano (7-11sp), SRAM (7-12sp) or Campagnolo (10-12sp) gear group and a common axle size (12x142 or 12x148 for thru axle or 10x135 for quick release), your bike should fit on the Wahoo KICKR. The only possible problem might be that on some bikes the frame is in the way. Wahoo has done its best to identify which bikes are not compatible for this reason. This means that the bikes listed below are known not to fit (directly). As it makes sense that Wahoo has not checked every existing bike, we recommend that you check if your bike fits. If you are unsure, feel free to contact our customer service team.
The following bikes are not compatible with the Wahoo KICKR V6:
• Canyon Ultimate rim brake version
• E-bikes, single speed, track and recumbent bikes
• MTBs with Shimano 12-speed (SLX or XT)
The following bikes are compatible with the correct adapter:
• 2021+ Trek Emonda

• 2021 Trek Top Fuel
• 2020+ Trek Domane & Madone
• 2021+ Giant TCR Disc models

A very well-made HT, no regrets!
Coming from an elite quito, I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet the HT was and how stable it was on ground that wasn't completely level.
