Pros & Cons
Pros & Cons
- The 3D-printed AirLoom lattice provides targeted sit bone support for significantly more comfort on long rides.
- The cut-out reduces pressure to prevent tingling and pain while cycling in a deep racing position.
- Blendr integration allows for seamless mounting of a rear light and other accessories.
- The use of austenite rails makes this saddle sturdier but also a bit heavier. For a version with carbon rails, consider the Trek Aeolus Pro AirLoom model.

Take your cycling comfort to the next level with the Trek Aeolus Elite AirLoom saddle, which combines a high-tech 3D-printed structure with an ultra-lightweight construction! With its wide and slightly shorter nose, this road bike saddle provides optimal support for the sit bones and takes pressure off the soft-tissue area. Sturdy austenite rails make the saddle efficient and ensure that virtually no power is lost.
Material and construction
This saddle consists of a lightweight nylon shell which, together with the 7x7 mm austenite rails, ensures extremely low weight and maximum stiffness. Instead of traditional foam, the AirLoom technology uses a 3D-printed saddle pad construction. These cells absorb pressure independently to distribute it optimally on the sit bones without deforming the entire saddle surface, which may cause discomfort. Thus, the saddle provides consistent support and flexibility in the right places.
Unique details and finish
The AirLoom lattice is specifically designed to give you firm support under the sit bones while being softer and more flexible in the soft-tissue area. The shorter profile works together with the full centre cut-out to minimise pressure on the soft-tissue area for a comfortable ride even when you are in a deep, aggressive position. In addition, the saddle comes with a Blendr accessory mount, which allows you to securely attach a rear light, mudguard or saddle bag without using separate clamps or awkward straps.
