After Suomy had designed their first bicycle helmet, the Gun Wind, it was time for an innovative second act. The Suomy Sfera might look like a virtually closed helmet, but the opposite proves to be true. The Sfera was developed in a windtunnel which allowed Suomy to ensure optimal aerodynamics without sacrificing ventilation. The rear vents act as exhaust ports for hot air.

The safety of the Sfera helmet can be described in a single word: excellent. The company Suomy originates in motorsport, where the safety standards are considerably more stringent. Despite this high level of safety, the weight of the helmet remains low. The Biaxial retention system on the back of your head allows you to perfectly tune the fit. The Hypo-allergenic, anti-bacterial and lightweight materials further enhance your comfort. Proof that they've thought of everything can be found in the removable chin strap and included rain cover. The helmet also comes with a convenient storage pouch to safely store your helmet in.
