Stages Ultegra R8000 Gen 3 Left Power Meter

Constant improvements in their power meters and individual calibration ensure optimum accuracy, with only a maximum measurement deviation of 1.5%. The Active Temperature Compensation (ATC) Technology guarantees you an accurate power measurement regardless of ambient and weather conditions. In addition, the optimised internal accelerometer ensures a wireless and precise measurement of your cadence.

Battery life and connectivity
The replaceable CR2032 button cell battery gives you over 200 hours of battery life and is easy to replace, without tools. The integrated LED indicator provides you with battery level and calibration information. The ANT+ and Bluetooth connection ensure optimal data transfer and connectivity to almost all modern bike computers. Finally, the IPX7 water resistance ensures that you can also train carefree in wetter weather conditions.

Please note:
Make sure the power meter is compatible with your frame and/or direct-mount rear brake under your bottom bracket.
You can do this by, as shown in the image, inserting Allen key 10 between your current crank arm and your frame and/or direct-mount rear brake. If this fits at all spots, then this Stages powermeter is going to fit too!

Fitting the powermeter crank arm is as follows.

1. Remove the pedal on the left side.
2. Loosen the two crank bolts at the top of the crank arm and remove the locking pin from the slot.
3. Next, remove the crank nut with this crank tool.
4. Now the crank arm is basically loose and you can take it off the axle. You may well have to apply considerable force here. The most important thing is not to damage the crank arm.
5. Then fit the powermeter crankarm by following the steps above in reverse order.
6. Next, do not forget to mount your pedal to the new crank arm and you are ready to ride!
