Speedplay Zero Chrome-Moly. This is the entry level pedal out of the Speedplay Zero-family. With a total of 108gper pedal and many settings this pedal is a real gem. The features list could've been copied from a professional's wish list. There is no other pedal that comes close to the adjustability, weight or durability. They've let the idea go of the original clipless pedal (the first design is not always the best design) and have developed and patented a completely new and arguably the most technically and advanced pedal system.
Speedplay pedals provide an advantage compared to other racing pedals. For example, your foot is located close to your crank which makes the power transmission optimal. Additionally, the speedplay zero has an extremely flat base which makes it possible to go lower while riding a turn, this also gives the pedal a more aerodynamic design. This design makes it possible to clip-in on both sides of the pedal. Your freedom of movement is adjustable between 0 - 15 degrees. The click system is in the cleat, which is why the pedals are low in weight.
