The Shimano XC100 W is a new MTB shoe which is perfect for beginning female mountain bikers. This affordable cycling shoe has the quality you may expect from Shimano, and can also be used on spinning bikes.
The upper of the Shimano XC100 W consists of a perforated synthetic leather. This material provides a comfortable fit, and the perforations create increased breathability. Thus, with these MTB shoes the chance of your feet overheating is very small. There are 3 wear-resistant Velcro fasteners on the upper with which you can adjust the fit until it's good and firm. The Velcro straps are positioned asymmetrically to relieve tension at the highest point of the foot. Of course, the women-specific last guarantees a natural and comfortable fit for women's feet.
Reinforced nylon midsole and outsole with great grip
This MTB shoe for women is equipped with a lightweight nylon midsole which is reinforced with glass fibre for better power transfer. Thus, your efforts on your mountain bike are converted into speed more effectively. The rubber XC outsole provides a stable grip on the pedals and a firm grip for walking.
