Draw a line above your big toe (or above the index toe if that is longer). Now mark your other foot on the paper in the same way. Fine shoe. Your size is actually your size. Seats much better than shimano's somewhat tighter racing shoes (at forefoot). During the first ride I had the Allen key at hand a lot to adjust the cleats. Then, once they are right, it's enjoyable. With the Velcro strap, pressure on forefoot is easy to adjust.
