Matching the Dura-Ace 9000 and the XTR M9000 groupset Shimano developed the new Shimano 11 speed CN-HG901-11 chain. This special unidirectional chain has inner and outer rings specifically designed for a perfect shifting performance. The chain has been treated with the SIL-TEC coating, developed by Shimano. This coating reduces resistance when shifting. In addition, the coating ensures that the chain will last longer and repels dirt. The HG901 Shimano 11-speed chain provides the best shifting performance even under harsh conditions. The chain is more durable than its predecessor.
