Excellent addition

- Niels, 28 August, 2025

Works great. See with status LEDs the heart rate zone I bike in on my Wahoo Elemnt Bolt. Works well for longer rides to better modulate your energy. Measured values seem to be correct and it sits fine. Get signal on my bike computer when it's time to recharge. Battery life not measured, but fine.

Pros & Cons

Accurate
Rechargeable
Works well

Already my third Wahoo heart rate monitor. I hope this one works longer.

Rubbish

- Ph, 17 June, 2025

Does not work. At least it connects, but the values it measures do not make any sense. At rest 168, at normal activity between 150 and 190, at high intensity same. Total rubbish. I threw it away. Waste of money.

Pros & Cons

connects easily
does not read properly at all
zero stars

Better than its predecessors

- L.M., 29 May, 2025

More often than you might expect, the battery was dead and had to be replaced. This is the solution for me. Not around the forearm like the but around the chest. 1000 hours is indicated and the available time can be read through the WAHOO app.

Pros & Cons

100 hours
Battery instead of battery
Comfortable
Band may be too short

Top heart rate monitor

- Stefan, 12 March, 2025

Used a few times now, works fine. Pairing was easy with my Garmin. Charging with a cable is great. Had a Polar before and when the battery had been out of there I always had all kinds of strange problems.

Pros & Cons

Band fits fine
Clicks securely into place
No battery replacement

`Easy to pair with Garmin. Easy to put on and take off. Only for the really wide athlete is the band limited.

Pros & Cons

easy to pair
nice locking system
rechargeable
limited length band, for wide athletes

Worth every cent.

I've had five Wahoo belts so far. At some point, the first generations seriously measured backwards (the heart rate went down during exertion) and the other three gave up the ghost because the battery had to be changed too often (often when it wasn't needed) and the cover broke. The current strap causes moments of shock because you think you've forgotten to put it on. The fastener looks disadvantageous in the photos, but it is much easier to attach than the first versions. The biggest advantage is the battery indicator diode (blinking and colour) and the option of charging the heart sensor via cable. Bus 100 hours per charge should be enough for everyone.
