Scope R5 Disc

After a 90 km ride, it felt great. Wheels fitted with gp 5000 str but with tpu inner tubes following a valve leakage problem (DEFECTOR??).

The wheels look nice, are aerodynamic and super stiff. They cut through the wind and I immediately feel a 1-1.5kmpu difference compared to 28mm deep alu factory wheels. The sound of the freewheel is super loud but of course I understand that not everyone likes that.

Pros & Cons

I switched from low carbon (29mm) rims to the Scope R5 Disc wheelset and would recommend it to anyone, what a difference! This set comes fully tubeless-ready and performs beyond expectations. They are very stiff and therefore very direct, without feeling nervous or compromising on comfort. And the look and feel of these wheels with white decals just give a bucket of extra morale. As far as I'm concerned, these are the perfect wheels for any flat ride!

Pros & Cons

These scope wheels feel really fast. In terms of weight, they feel almost as light as my climbing wheels. The stiffness makes them cut super sharp through corners. Furthermore, a bell is no longer necessary (when you stop pedalling, all walkers/cyclists move aside). And just look at the looks, the bike just looks much faster. Really top product this. Don't hesitate, just order it!

Pros & Cons

The variant with white decals is surprisingly beautiful, falling nicely outside the current minimalist trend. The wheels make an unmistakably nice sound when you pedal and a surprisingly loud sound when not pedaling. They feel very stiff, when you turn on you're gone immediately! They are also very fast, which is maybe 50% perception, and 50% really faster.

Pros & Cons

I went from vision team 35 wheels to these Scope R5 Disc wheels and the difference was more than noticeable. Better cruising speed, faster acceleration and they are actually just as good if not better with crosswinds. Furthermore, they really hum great when you stop pedaling, of course this is not fun for everyone but at least I no longer need a bell to make sure people get out of the way!
