Value for money

- Paolo, 6 February, 2021

Aesthetically beautiful shoes. Comfortable in fit, they have a double closure: external zip and internal elastic lace. However, the lace fastening clip interferes with the zip fastening. The upper part remains loose. A lace velcro would be necessary to tighten it. Stiff, well treaded sole that does not interfere with the attachment to the pedal. They keep out the non-intense cold (4-5 degrees) only up to a couple of hours of use. For me, this is my first pair of winter shoes and I think the value for money is fair.

They sit like slippers!

- Sigrid, 5 January, 2021

Lovely winter shoes for cycling! The size chart on Mantel's site is ideal, I had the right size in 1x. The shoes are easy to close/fasten. After use, they are easy to clean with a damp cloth. The only downside is that they are quite tight at the very top; my legs are really not thick and I really have to put some force into the last 2 cm of the zip to get them closed. Once closed, this does not bother me.
