iphone13 mini must be exactly in the middle of the holder otherwise it will not charge, but buttons are then so close to holder that off/on and volume are stuck. Better buy the vertical version for small phones.

Assembly takes a bit more time than expected. But with where more patience it works fine. Quality is fine. Over bumps, short bits of forest path, phone stays in place just fine. Phone does not run empty by following navigation through the charging function. That's a big plus. Existing/old display no longer needed. Everything goes through the phone. Durability a bit hard to judge.

The SmartphoneGrip is a handy holder for using your phone as an e-bike display instead of a Kiox display. Using and reading functions from the Bosch Flow app is much easier this way. The holder can keep the phone powered in two ways; wirelessly or with a cable to be bought separately. The holder provides 2.4V electrical voltage; this does NOT charge the phone battery! So when navigating with the Bosch Flow app, the battery drains less quickly than without power. Mantel stands for accurate information on their website and fast delivery. The price at which the product is offered is not the lowest but also not the highest on the internet. For the Bosch SmartphoneGrip, a module can be bought elsewhere on the internet that allows the grip to be rotated in portrait or landscape.

Ideally, the phone charges automatically. On an uneven surface, the screen vibrates a lot, but the phone's tight attachment keeps it in place. The tight fastening does make it difficult to place the phone in the holder.

The smartphone holder does exactly what you expect and because it's part of the whole Bosch system, it integrates perfectly. On the negative side, it's a very slow charge, at least with my phone, I've noticed, and getting the phone into the holder is a bit fiddly -- though once it's in, it's in.

Was looking for a mount so I had an easy way to navigate. With the Kiox 300 it can be done but wanted some ease of use and a bigger screen. This is actually perfect. The wireless charging is nice. What I still miss is on the software side. I would love to be able to customise the information displayed in the app. And what would be really cool is integration with other apps, for example an audio app or my smartphone app, so I can control all those things from one screen. But maybe that's thinking a little too big. Long story short; it does what it is supposed to do. And now just hope Bosch will continue to build and expand its smart system.

The Bosch eBike SmarphoneGrip was not in stock at the shop near me but despite that, it was quickly collected there. The holder is larger than the Kiox 300 and provides a good grip. It takes some figuring out how to get the phone's display in say landscape mode.
