affordable good tyre

- Ruud, 6 February, 2024

2 months in use , unfortunately only had bad weather . So on dry sand I have not been able to test yet. In mud, reasonable grip. Rolls smoothly on asphalt and with almost no noise.

excellent traction in muddy conditions

- Raphaël, 29 March, 2023

I tested these new tires during a mountain bike tour in very muddy conditions, on greasy, slippery and wet ground. These tires are remarkably agile and motric (mounted in 2.0), highly recommended! What's more, the price is very affordable for a tubeless tire.

Pros & Cons

easy assembly
motricity

tubeless topper!

- Robert, 3 October, 2022

The price is very favorable. I have a 27.5" rim, and decided to replace the same tire from continental. Even though I have an inner tube myself, I was pleasantly surprised that this one is tubeless! Highly recommended!

My son was all smiles ;-)

- John, 24 June, 2021

Bought as a replacement for the standard fitted Kenda tyres on my son's (second-hand) new MTB. Can he enjoy crossing the woods with dad! I myself had previous good experiences with this tyre on my old 26-inch MTB, so the choice was not difficult. As far as I am concerned, it is the best all-round tyre. Good grip on singletracks (both summer and winter) and little resistance on the straights and on the road. It releases sand and mud well, as the studs are nicely spaced apart. Mounting was also not too bad, they went easily on the (in my case) Syncros clincher rims. From my previous experience with this tyre, I know they last a long time.

Pros & Cons

All-round grip
Easy assembly
Long-lasting
Releases mud/sand quickly
Not in Skinwall (would have been cool)

Great tyre, at great price!

- Jasper, 11 June, 2021

Nice tyres, they ride fine. at the moment it's mainly loose sand where I ride. Rolling resistance, and road noise is low, and in the loose sand I can really keep up a good pace. I'm currently using them on 2.2Bar with my 100kg weight, which suits me fine. As there is little mud at the moment, I haven't been able to test them in it yet (just a mud puddle here and there, which went fine). I did have to really pump them up to 4.5Bar to get them to plop nicely into the rim.

Pros & Cons

Little noise on tarmac
Lots of grip, also in the loose sand nice and steady on course
Tyres look beautiful
Not yet tested in mud

Topper as a rear tyre!

- Bas, 19 May, 2021

Having always ridden Schwalbe, I've now taken a gamble with Continental. I use the 26x2.3 Cross King as the rear tyre on my Stumpjumper. Very nice in combination with the Mountain King as a front tyre. The tyre rolls nicely, even at lower tyre pressures. I really like the pattern on the sidewall of the tyre. Not very functional, but the eye wants something in the end.

Pros & Cons

Nice cheeks
Rolls smoothly

Fine nothing to complain about

- Daan, 14 July, 2020

Good tyre in both very dry conditions and when it has just rained. sand and mud do not remain on the tyre. But the tyre is not suitable for mud. It rolls lightly and smoothly. Furthermore, traction is good. In short, just an excellent tyre.

Pros & Cons

Both good in dry and Nate conditions
Rolls lightly
