Great seat, too bad about the rotating footrests
Both me and my five-and-a-half-year-old daughter are enthusiastic about the seat itself. The footrests and protective plates are also fine in themselves, only I, like many other reviewers, had the problem that they keep turning easily if some force is applied, no matter how hard you tighten the bolts. I easily solved this myself doot by fastening the back of the foot protection plate to the rear rack bar with a tie-wrap. Now there is no more movement. Another solution might be to remove the supplied smooth plastic film that protects the frame and instead put a piece of rubber between the clamp and the frame (not tried).

Top seat, but the footrests are unusable for now.
Nothing to criticise about the seat. It is robust, easy to assemble and folding the backrest is ideal if the bike is also used for other purposes. The footrests are a different story. The design icm with the protectors is nicely done, but the mounting of the footrests themselves is really only compatible with a completely vertical frame tube. As soon as the supports are mounted even slightly at an angle, the mounting falls seriously short. There is no proper way to clamp the supports really well, they keep being able to rotate and thus it is not possible for the child to put even a little weight on them. In doing so, the protector also rotates and gets between the spokes. I am still discussing a suitable solution with Bobike

Prima stoeltje voor korte afstanden
Goed fietsstoeltje voor kortere afstanden, voet steuntjes draaien steeds weg, waardoor het spatbord in de spaken komt

Perfect, but not universal
Although beautiful materials and design, one part does not fit on our Winona FUB2 (=Batavus Fier2) cargo bike. The tubes of the rear frame are oval instead of round and then it doesn't fit. The dress guards have plenty of holes to attach but still just don't fit the different tubes and design of the frame and carrier.

Fine product, foldable and incl. footrests
It is an excellent product. Our son likes it very much. We first had another brand but it was narrower. He slid off that one, so we deliberately chose a wider seat.

Great product
Because the footrests are mounted with short screws, you have to use touch and feel to tighten them.

Good product, unnecessarily complicated assembly.
Firstly, an excellent seat, my child can sit on it well and safely, so the function is performed well. Assembly, however, as reported in other reviews, is difficult. The seat was on in 5 minutes, the inner coat guards in another 5 minutes, but the footrests and outer coat guards took an hour and a half. Neither 'standard-size' clamps fit properly, and one doesn't close at all. Thereby, mounting requires awkwardly holding things via your wheel. Also, at this point the instructions are unclear, although they are otherwise very comprehensive and clear. In the end it worked, but it should not have been so difficult.

Quite okay
Delivery was fast and packaging was good. Assembly of the seat pad is very easy and simple. Can be quickly attached to the luggage carrier. However, the protection and the folding pedals are not. The protection is fixed with cable ties and unfortunately the shape doesn't really fit my e-bike. All in all quite ok although it doesn't look so good visually.

Can be recommended
It's nice that you can fold down the backrest when no child is sitting in the back.

Practical and solid
Lovely to feel your grandchild's hands on your hips/legs, feet cannot get between the spokes. Tighten the hip belt properly because there is no shoulder belt. Easy to (dis)assemble.

The seat is top-notch, but the protection and footrests are a drawback.
The seat is top-notch, well designed for comfort and with a folding backrest. It's just a shame that the protectors and footrests aren't as well finished. The footrests and bindings are too light and ill-suited to the frame and a child's weight. They look cheap compared to the seat and seem to me to be much less durable.

Good seat for almost all bikes, footrest not very optimal.
I bought this seat knowing that it might not be suitable for my bike. I had the chair adapted to a fat bike with a 20 cm wide rear rack, removing the opening stops. Then I tightened the screws and to my pleasant surprise, the chair fits perfectly and doesn't move out of place. However, the footrests aren't designed for my bike and I'm going to use pegs as footrests.

Great seat but poorly designed footrests.
I'm very pleased with the seat: it's exactly as I wanted it and my 6-year-old daughter adopted it straight away. It's easy to fit and relatively quick to remove when needed. It's a shame that the footrests are poorly designed. My feet bang into them every time I turn the pedals.

I love this child seat!
Great product, but the cable ties were missing.

I am satisfied!
Thank you for the fast, reliable delivery! Overall, I am also satisfied. Only the spoke protector is only attached with simple cable ties... that's quite simple and not so nice to look at. But it fulfils the purpose. The seat itself makes a good impression and it remains to be seen how long it will last.

The seat is excellent, but I can't say the same for the footrest.
The seat is very practical and easy to install. The folding side is great for carrying things on the luggage rack without moving it. What's more, it's lightweight. However, the system for attaching the footrests needs to be reviewed. We'll have to tinker with something for the Fatbike because it doesn't fit properly.

Pros & Cons

Very good child seat
The seat is quick and easy to install, small, light and compact. Like other users, I had to adapt the footrest attachments to my bike's seat stays. Despite the two sets of fasteners supplied, none of them fitted my seat stays. My tip: double-sided tape on the seatstays and a piece of rim tape wrapped around them. Very positive point: the price and efficiency of the Mantel site.

Adapted to the morphology of young children.
The seat seems more suitable than my old baby seat, which had become too small. But I agree with the general opinion that installing the wedges is quite complicated. You don't get it right the first time.

Nice seat for 5-year-old child who cannot cycle long distances by himself yet!
Top quality from bobike, easy to attach! Design top!
