Seat is good, footrests disastrous
A great idea in itself. We bought the seat for our holiday. Unfortunately, the footrests took ages to install. They kept coming loose after about 2 days and then fell off. The screws were turning. The thread didn't fit somehow. The system doesn't fit well on the bars of the e-bike. In the end we had to use the seat with only one support and at the very end without any supports at all, which is uncomfortable for the child and also unsafe as the feet can get caught in the spokes as the spoke guard cannot be installed without footrests. Overall had high hopes but unfortunately disappointing

Great seat, too bad about the rotating footrests
Both me and my five-and-a-half-year-old daughter are enthusiastic about the seat itself. The footrests and protective plates are also fine in themselves, only I, like many other reviewers, had the problem that they keep turning easily if some force is applied, no matter how hard you tighten the bolts. I easily solved this myself doot by fastening the back of the foot protection plate to the rear rack bar with a tie-wrap. Now there is no more movement. Another solution might be to remove the supplied smooth plastic film that protects the frame and instead put a piece of rubber between the clamp and the frame (not tried).

Practical accessories
The seat feels secure and firm. My child loves sitting on it. The seat was easy to fit, the footrests were not quite as easy, but doable.

Top seat, but the footrests are unusable for now.
Nothing to criticise about the seat. It is robust, easy to assemble and folding the backrest is ideal if the bike is also used for other purposes. The footrests are a different story. The design icm with the protectors is nicely done, but the mounting of the footrests themselves is really only compatible with a completely vertical frame tube. As soon as the supports are mounted even slightly at an angle, the mounting falls seriously short. There is no proper way to clamp the supports really well, they keep being able to rotate and thus it is not possible for the child to put even a little weight on them. In doing so, the protector also rotates and gets between the spokes. I am still discussing a suitable solution with Bobike

Prima stoeltje voor korte afstanden
Goed fietsstoeltje voor kortere afstanden, voet steuntjes draaien steeds weg, waardoor het spatbord in de spaken komt

Unfortunately disappointed
Actually a very cool product. We were really looking forward to it. It took 5 minutes to fit the seat, but the footrests took ages. Unfortunately, they don't fit properly on the e-bike and are wobbly. It came loose again on the first ride, which really spoilt our enjoyment of the seat. Unfortunately, only 3 of the 4 screws arrived in the same condition, whereas the 4th was faulty and spun. Annoying.

Very good impression
Very easy to assemble. Test it in real life now

Very good solution for transporting a child on a bike.
The seat is very stable and comfortable. Installation was very easy. The footrests were a bit unusual because the spoke protectors don't fit exactly on top of each other and the supports don't look straight. Works and looks as in the instructions, just seemed wrong to me during assembly.

Thumbs up
We bought the seat as a successor to the Römer seat and are totally satisfied. Easy installation, space-saving alternative and a cool look speak for themselves. Our son loves sitting in it!

A purchase that fully meets our needs
Very comfortable seat, light and easy to get into. Our son never wants to get out ;)

Perfect, but not universal
Although beautiful materials and design, one part does not fit on our Winona FUB2 (=Batavus Fier2) cargo bike. The tubes of the rear frame are oval instead of round and then it doesn't fit. The dress guards have plenty of holes to attach but still just don't fit the different tubes and design of the frame and carrier.

I recommend it: practical and high quality
Perfect for my 5 1/2 year old son, he's comfortable in it and loves his seat. It's very comfortable and practical because it folds up! It's also very light!

Fine product, foldable and incl. footrests
It is an excellent product. Our son likes it very much. We first had another brand but it was narrower. He slid off that one, so we deliberately chose a wider seat.

Great product
Because the footrests are mounted with short screws, you have to use touch and feel to tighten them.

Niet kopen!
Echt wat een slechte kwaliteit! Voetsteunen blijven niet vastzitten. Minste kracht erop en ze staan scheef. Hierdoor is de set dus niet bruikbaar....

Good product, unnecessarily complicated assembly.
Firstly, an excellent seat, my child can sit on it well and safely, so the function is performed well. Assembly, however, as reported in other reviews, is difficult. The seat was on in 5 minutes, the inner coat guards in another 5 minutes, but the footrests and outer coat guards took an hour and a half. Neither 'standard-size' clamps fit properly, and one doesn't close at all. Thereby, mounting requires awkwardly holding things via your wheel. Also, at this point the instructions are unclear, although they are otherwise very comprehensive and clear. In the end it worked, but it should not have been so difficult.

The seat is top-notch, but the protection and footrests are a drawback.
The seat is comfortable and the child feels safe and secure. It's just a shame that the footrests weren't designed to be more secure.

Don’t buy, look for something else
Mounting seat ok and quality seems fair. My son hurt his finger really bad when he raised the seat back. Footrest was really loose, didn’t hold weight. tried too tighten screws but they went through the plastic and footrest broke. Really bad quality and construction. Wish I went for a different seat, very disappointed.
Pros & Cons
3 / 5
Yes for the seat, but a system for the feet is needed.
The seat is top quality, comfortable and practical, but don't count on the footrests which are very difficult to attach and in the end I had to cobble together a system for the feet.

Recommande ce siège vélo.
Utilisé pour des petits parcours pour déposer enfant de 8 et 5ans pour leurs activités. Ils sont ravis et se sentent en sécurité.

Seat ok, pedals cheap and the very last thing
The seat looks very solid and well made. Except for the screws, which are made of cheap material and are quickly overtightened. The seat can therefore not be fitted and removed frequently. But the pedals are really bad. The fixing mechanism is sub-standard, cheap and in the end I have to buy these pedals separately from another manufacturer. Unfortunately, I only read the other reviews later.

Quite okay
Delivery was fast and packaging was good. Assembly of the seat pad is very easy and simple. Can be quickly attached to the luggage carrier. However, the protection and the folding pedals are not. The protection is fixed with cable ties and unfortunately the shape doesn't really fit my e-bike. All in all quite ok although it doesn't look so good visually.

Can be recommended
It's nice that you can fold down the backrest when no child is sitting in the back.
4 / 5
Practical and solid
Lovely to feel your grandchild's hands on your hips/legs, feet cannot get between the spokes. Tighten the hip belt properly because there is no shoulder belt. Easy to (dis)assemble.
Pros & Cons

Fine seat.
Mounting the seat itself is very easy. Footrests were a bit tricky because I have a luggage carrier with 4 legs instead of 2 on an old-fashioned one. It was quite a puzzle to get it right. My hubby loves sitting on it.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
The seat is top-notch, but the protection and footrests are a drawback.
The seat is top-notch, well designed for comfort and with a folding backrest. It's just a shame that the protectors and footrests aren't as well finished. The footrests and bindings are too light and ill-suited to the frame and a child's weight. They look cheap compared to the seat and seem to me to be much less durable.

Poor design, poor quality, but looks nice.
Looks nice. But quality is disappointing. Footrests only just stay up, and will soon be lame. Scooters are attached with a pin that is actually too short. If your child stands on them, there is a chance the footrests will break off. So I'm going to secure them with a regular bolt just to be sure. The belt always hangs loose when you're not using the seat, which looks messy, and rattles. The belt's snap attachment has no clear front and back, and can only be put together one way. So this is always searching. The foot guards unfortunately do not fit, so I have to mount separate jacket guards. I also find it a disadvantage that the backrest is open. This means the seat is always wet when it rains. If this was closed, the seat would be dry and you could store the belt underneath.
Pros & Cons

Good seat for almost all bikes, footrest not very optimal.
I bought this seat knowing that it might not be suitable for my bike. I had the chair adapted to a fat bike with a 20 cm wide rear rack, removing the opening stops. Then I tightened the screws and to my pleasant surprise, the chair fits perfectly and doesn't move out of place. However, the footrests aren't designed for my bike and I'm going to use pegs as footrests.

Great seat but poorly designed footrests.
I'm very pleased with the seat: it's exactly as I wanted it and my 6-year-old daughter adopted it straight away. It's easy to fit and relatively quick to remove when needed. It's a shame that the footrests are poorly designed. My feet bang into them every time I turn the pedals.

I love this child seat!
Great product, but the cable ties were missing.
3 / 5
Great seat, but complicated to install.
A really well-designed and beautiful seat.

I am satisfied!
Thank you for the fast, reliable delivery! Overall, I am also satisfied. Only the spoke protector is only attached with simple cable ties... that's quite simple and not so nice to look at. But it fulfils the purpose. The seat itself makes a good impression and it remains to be seen how long it will last.

Super seat which is also easy to assemble
Having this bike seat on 2 bikes now, like it very much and the kids sit on it very well too!
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
The seat is excellent, but I can't say the same for the footrest.
The seat is very practical and easy to install. The folding side is great for carrying things on the luggage rack without moving it. What's more, it's lightweight. However, the system for attaching the footrests needs to be reviewed. We'll have to tinker with something for the Fatbike because it doesn't fit properly.

Great seat for long tours with a 5-year-old daughter
Our 5-year-old daughter had very good support and a good sitting position. She really enjoyed it and I was able to ride very well.

My son said: "Your new child seat is so stylish!
A very good seat for cycling with children aged 6 and over who have become too heavy for most other children's bike seats. Very easy to use, practical with its backrest and fold-down footrests, this seat blends in well with a city bike or VTC, it's got class ;)

Solid product; easy to install
Solid product; easy to install - nice design
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Very good child seat
The seat is quick and easy to install, small, light and compact. Like other users, I had to adapt the footrest attachments to my bike's seat stays. Despite the two sets of fasteners supplied, none of them fitted my seat stays. My tip: double-sided tape on the seatstays and a piece of rim tape wrapped around them. Very positive point: the price and efficiency of the Mantel site.

great product, excellent value for money
Simple and practical to use. The children are very happy to be able to get on the back (seat on a scooter).

A clear recommendation!
We have attached the seat as an emergency seat on the carrier of the cargo bike (chike). And we love it. We can now spontaneously take visitors with us

Very good successor to the toddler seat
My children (5 and 7) love the seat, it offers more freedom than the narrow shell of the Römer seat. I find it more practical because it is not so bulky and dries more quickly or is easier to cover.

A quality, safe product for children who can no longer fit in a baby seat.
Seat bought for my 6 year old daughter (23kg) following a cycling accident. Unfortunately, she got her foot stuck in my wheel because I didn't have any protection until then. Thanks to this device, we were able to cycle again in complete safety, much to my daughter's delight. I was pleasantly surprised when I received the product because the seat seemed more comfortable than on the description. So far, no defects have been found.

Practical and discreet
This seat is easy to install. It's discreet, especially when folded. The fact that it folds makes it easier to straddle the bike when the child seat is not in use. The footrests are missing rubber pads to protect the frame and make them fit better. Something has to be added. They can't be adjusted in rotation and are therefore necessarily oriented in the direction of the frame and not towards the child's feet. In any case, there's nothing to stop them.

Great chair
The seat is very good, but you don't get the footrests all tight.
Pros & Cons
4 / 5
Adapted to the morphology of young children.
The seat seems more suitable than my old baby seat, which had become too small. But I agree with the general opinion that installing the wedges is quite complicated. You don't get it right the first time.

Sturdy and easy to install, my daughter is delighted to ride behind me!
Easy to install and practical with its folding backrest, this seat fits very well on the luggage rack of my Elops electric bike. The assembly key is supplied and I preferred this model to a knurled one which I thought was too easy to steal. The footrests are easy to fit and adapt well to the frame (2 sizes of fasteners supplied to ensure compatibility with the diameter of the frame). The only downside is that the seat is a bit hard, so my daughter moans a bit if we get off the pavement a bit too quickly.)

Would buy again
The seat fits perfectly on my Kettler cargo bike, my daughter accepts it well. I only had to tinker with attaching the footrests, but the seat offered here is the best solution on the market for me. Thanks to Holland

Great option for once baby seat is outgrown
Has solved the issue of getting my large 4 year old around town now he’s grown out of his childseat. Great to suit our car-free lifestyle.

Super fit
Finally, my daughter can ride confidently on the luggage carrier.

Nice seat for 5-year-old child who cannot cycle long distances by himself yet!
Top quality from bobike, easy to attach! Design top!
