Excellent chain of good quality. The chain is just long enough to secure 2 bikes to a bike rack. The chain is quite heavy though. That is both a plus and a minus in my opinion.

The lock makes me feel more secure. I dare to put my beautiful bike down again when I have to get off for shopping or when I have to sit on the train. I hope it will ensure that no one touches my beautiful bike and I dare to enjoy it myself!!!

Lock satisfies perfectly. 1.10 m You soon need it to easily secure your bike anywhere. First carried in pannier but now roll it under the saddle. I like that much better.

Just a good sturdy chain lock. It is fairly heavy, but that is to be expected with a chain lock. The lock opens easily and is also easy to close.

Bought this lock as I was tired of having bikes stolen. It is relatively heavy but feels secure and should last for very much according to Abus. Can easily spin around the saddle or handlebar when cycling. Chose this longer version to make it easier to lock the bike to the frame. Probably would have managed on something shorter as you still always have to find a post to lean the bike against. If you stand in a regular bike rack, the chain does not reach from the frame to the rack so you have to lock it to the tire, which is not as safe. Would have needed an unreasonably long chain to succeed with it though. Easy to open and lock. Prefer the chain over the building lock as it is easier to lock to different objects.

The lock occasionally opens reluctantly, but that may also be a way to deter :)

Lock has an ART rating which makes it good enough for your bike insurance. The lock is very heavy, another disadvantage is the fact that you can remove the key without the chain actually being locked, so you have to be careful with that.
