According to the product specialist

Pros
The hardened brake surface will wear out less quickly than a non-hardened brake track.
The hardened brake track ensures high levels of stopping power.
The wheels are lightweight despite the wide rims.
The ceramic USB bearings run extremely smoothly.
These wheels definitely win the beauty award for their shiny carbon rims and simplicity in decals.
Due to the rim height of 40mm, the Wind 40C wheels are very versatile; high enough for aerodynamic advantage, but low enough for use on windy roads.
The sealed industrial bearings in these wheels run smoothly and at the same time are well sealed against water and dirt.
If you're looking for lighter weight, improved aerodynamics and good braking performance, this is the way to go.
The wheels are tubeless ready.
The grey hubs and minimal use of decals both look great on these wheels.
The cup-cone bearings by Shimano are highly reliable and easy to maintain.
Cons
The black brake track will eventually lose its colour due to wear.
These wheels cannot be made tubeless.
The carbon braking surface makes this wheel less suitable for long mountain descents with the risk of a blowout or rim deformation.
The internal rim width is fairly narrow at 15 mm.
