You notice an increased rolling resistance over the Schwalbe One for instance, but the increased puncture resistance royally compensates for that.
The 60 TPI carcass of the Rubino Pro Control G2 also makes the tyre quite stiff, which increases its rolling resistance.
In the Rubino series, the focus is primarily on durability and puncture resistance and less on reducing rolling resistance.
The Ultra Sport III does not offer the same rolling resistance as tyres in a higher segment.
