The Vittoria Rubino Pro Control G2 is the ideal road bike tyre from the Rubino series for rougher terrain, as it has an extra thick compound on the tread. This rubber armour reduces the risk of getting punctures, making the Rubino Pro Control G2 perfect for rougher surfaces such as cobblestone strips and bumpy pavements.

The Rubino Pro Control G2 has second generation graphene compounds. With these compounds, Vittoria can adapt the rubber composition as needed for particular circumstances. The Rubino Pro Control G2 has a thicker rubber compound on the tread for better puncture protection, which makes this tyre ideal for rough surfaces.
The Vittoria Rubino Pro Control G2 consists of 3 different compounds. The use of multiple compounds creates an ideal balance between rolling resistance, grip and durability. The carcass of the Rubino Pro Control G2 road bike tyre is made of 60 TPI nylon, which makes the carcass quite stiff, yet extra durable. Thus, the Rubino Pro Control G2 road bike tyre will give you many miles of cycling fun, even on the cobbled sections of Paris-Roubaix or the white pavements of the Strade Bianchi.
For several years now, Vittoria has been using the magical material, graphene, in the production of its tyres. In 2019 Vittoria introduced the second generation compounds: Graphene 2.0. For these compounds Vittoria uses 'functionalised graphene', whereby different quantities of graphene are incorporated in the compound. These quantities vary between 1 and 10 percent to adapt the compound to the circumstances. In this way, Vittoria is able to bring the tyre's performance to a higher level in terms of speed, wet grip, durability and puncture protection.
